Fascinating chart outlining how countries consume the news. Germany is the only country that gets more of it’s news from print and radio than online. Wonder how that impacts the quality of it’s overall knowledge? Germany has a “dual system” of both public and commercial broadcasting creating a very strong local media presence and balance to the commercial media “rating focused” news. By reading more newspapers they are exposed to more pushed content are less likely to edit or skip content like one does with feeds and online sites. One would suspect they are better informed from consuming more in depth reporting except maybe in terms of the Kardashians where I think America is still number 1…
