The Lamborghini L2800 Android Tablet - Great, now the internet is 200 mph and hard to park...

Italian automaker and rap lyric staple Lamborghini is releasing a tablet PC. The Lamborghini L2800 tablet runs Gingerbread, sports a 9.7 inch 1024 × 768 pixels sapphire crystal display, a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of storage capacity, a MicroSD card support and a reported 1.2 GHz Qualcomm processor. Not necessarily supercar worthy performance but then it is releasing in the Russian market. The Lamborghini L2800 tablet is expected to retail for 75,000 RUB or roughly $2,290.

It is also releasing an accompanying gold plated smartphone.

Fire/Vox/Nook Color comparison. Kobo looks surprisingly good!

The $199 Kobo Vox has full open access to Android 2.3 and the Android Marketplace rather than the Amazon forked access. This means you could, if you wanted, download and use the Kindle Amazon app along with the nook App and Aldiko and any number of reading apps available on the Android platform.

With a strong international push Kobo could bring Europe up to speed with the US for Tablets as e-readers pretty quickly.
